| Wholewheat flour | 460 gm |
| Kidney beans | 230 gm |
| Green chillies | 20 gm |
| Onions | 60 gm |
| Salt | to taste |
| Coriander leaves | a few springs |
| Fat | 60 gm |
| Cumin | a pinch |
Method
- Soak kidney beans for about 8 hours. Then cook till nicely soft.
- Grind together cooked beans, green chillies, salt and cumin. Mix with flour, keeping aside a little flour for rolling.
- Add chopped onions and coriander leaves and make medium consistency dough. Keep aside for half an hour. Knead well.
- Divide into even sized balls. Roll out 0.5 cm. (about 1/8") thick.
- Heat griddle. Bake each roti for a minute, add fat round the edge. Turn over. Bake both sides. Sevre hot.
